In this week's Alumni Spotlight, we catch up with alumnus Nina Cardel.

What are you doing now?

I am a small business owner & mom!

How did APS prepare you for this role?

In my time at Banfield, Ellis & AHS, I was always very outgoing and outspoken and the amazing teachers that I had always encouraged this and allowed me to be myself and to make friends and put myself out there. This has helped me in growing my own small business to what it is today!

What is your advice for current Packers?

Don’t be afraid or embarrassed to participate in the countless activities and events the schools put on! You’ll look back year after year and remember how cool Battle of Connects was and you’ll be glad you dressed crazy and had FUN!

Who at APS inspired you?

So many amazing teachers and guidance counselors. But the ones that stick out the most are Mr. Johnson (choir) & Mr. Brobeck (art)

What was your favorite meal in the cafeteria?

Crispitos, duh!
