In this week's Alumni Spotlight, we catch up with alumna Karla Boe.

What are you doing now?

I work as a lunchroom supervisor at Southgate 

How did APS prepare you for this role?

In grade school there was a playground supervisor. Mrs. Pike that made an impact in my life. I try to do that exact same thing. I hope that each child that crosses my path will go away feeling that same positive feeling I got from Mrs. Pike

What is your advice for current Packers?

No matter where your path in life takes you always remember how unique and special you are. 

Who at APS inspired you?

Mrs. Pike a playground supervisor at Shaw School in the 1970's.

What was your favorite meal in the cafeteria?

Chili, because it always came with a giant cinnamon roll!
